Box it up and mark it clearly.
If something might break inside a soft bag — glassware, ceramics, small electronics — place it in a sturdy box or crate instead. Mark it clearly with "DonateCrate" and our driver will pick it up alongside your bag.
Clothing and shoes are the most common items we collect, but they're far from the only ones. Below is a complete guide to what we accept, how to prepare your bag, and a few items we can't take.
T-shirts, denim, jackets, dresses, sweaters, activewear, kids' clothing, baby clothes, and seasonal apparel. Clean and dry — any style, any age.
Paired shoes, sneakers, boots, sandals, and other wearable footwear in reusable condition. Keep pairs together for easy sorting.
Sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, blankets, throws, and comforters — clean, dry, and folded or bagged neatly.
Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, and bath mats in usable condition — clean and fully dry before bagging.
Kitchen utensils, small décor, picture frames, books, toys, and similar compact household goods that fit safely in the bag.
Purses, belts, hats, scarves, gloves, and reusable bags in wearable or functional condition.

Keep everything clean, dry, and neatly contained. Pair your shoes. Fold or roll clothing. Items that arrive in good shape are more likely to find a new home quickly.
Sofas, tables, chairs, televisions, refrigerators, and large items that can't be bagged or boxed for curbside pickup.
Clothing with heavy staining, mold, or significant tears. Items that are wet, smelly, or in otherwise unusable condition.
Paint, chemicals, batteries (loose), propane, or any items that present a safety hazard during transport.
Mattresses are outside our current pickup scope. Check local bulk trash pickup or mattress recycling programs for these items.
We only accept paired footwear. A single shoe without its match can't be reused and won't help our nonprofit partners.
DonateCrate is a clothing and goods pickup service only. Food donations belong with local food banks and pantries.
